The Little Elephant

The Little Elephant

Narrator:

We find Lisette Cheyenne in the psychiatrist office of Dr. Ann Rye.

Dr. Rye:

Now Miss Lisette what is wrong?

Lisette:

Well doctor I think I’ve been seeing things. There is this little elephant following me around.

As Miss Lisette is telling this to Dr. Rye a miniature elephant walks across the Dr.’s desk. Dr. Rye doesn’t notice it because she is busy writing notes.

Dr. Rye:

And how long has this been going on?

Lisette:

Oh…I guess for about 3 weeks now.

Dr. Rye:

Mhm…

Dr. Rye presses a button on a machine on her desk. Michelle Esteva, her secretary’s voice crackles a “Yes?”

Dr. Rye:

Michelle would you please bring me a bottle of Advai?

Michelle:

Of course.

Dr. Rye:

Ok Lisette you will need to sign these papers please.

While Lisette is signing the papers Michelle walks in and hands the Dr. a small bottle of purple liquid.

Dr. Rye:

You will need to take one spoonful of this for 3 days, and it should help with your elephant problem.

Lisette: (shouts suddenly, seeing the elephant)

There it is!!

Dr. Rye:

What?!?

Lisette:

The elephant I told you about, it was on your desk!

Dr. Rye:

Hmm… Why don’t you take two spoonfuls a day ok Lisette?

Dr. Rye puts the paperwork on her desk and starts to writs as Lisette leaves. The mini elephant starts walking across her desk again. Finally it gets to her papers and while making a crunching noise with each step walks across them too.

Dr. Rye glances at it then returns to her work. Then realizes what she is seeing and calls Michelle into her office.

Dr. Rye: (laying on the couch)

Have a seat please Michelle.

Michelle: (sits down)

What’s wrong doctor?

Dr. Rye:

Well it all started when my dad took me to the circus...

The End!!
