I watched him mumble through the paper; glasses askew on his nose, his blue eyes slowly moving across the page.
His pointer finger of his left hand followed the words arduously.
Every once in a while he would pause for a moment and silently sound out a word. His lips moving with each syllable.
"Paw Paw?" I called from his lap.
He looked down, his eyebrows slightly raised.
"Whatcha readin'?" I asked.
"The Good Book." he replied. His voice was calm and deep.
"Oh.."
He continued to read, and his fingers gently turned a page.
258, I could read numbers.
"Whats it about?"
His finger stopped in the middle of a word. He looked down at me and smiled softly.
"Its about a lot of stuff."
I looked down at his hands again. They were rough, and strong. A workman's hands.
"Like what?" I put my small hand over his.
"Like Jesus, and God, and all of God's people." He turned his hand over and held mine gently.
"Oh.."
He went back to reading, still holding my hand.
Back and forth, back and forth we rocked. His foot keeping us in motion.
Soon I was fast asleep in my grandfather's lap, holding his hand while he read the Bible.
mmkay, time to write. its been a while since i last got on here.. so here goes nothin'!

So today mr. k gave us homework well, actually it was yesterday but i did it today ^^
we had to define some words, and write a sentence using the words properly.
These are some of the best sentences I came up with. (i always write sentence with an a instead of an e.... why??)

(love this sentence!)

I watched him mumble through the paper; glasses askew on his nose, blue eyes slowly moving across the page.

"The poor man is trying to become an autocrat." observed Kenny, shaking his head slowly.
